Terms of service

1. The service

ShotLord lets you generate images and videos with third-party AI models and edit them into movies. By creating an account you agree to these terms, the Acceptable use policy and the Privacy policy.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use ShotLord.

2. Accounts

Keep your sign-in and API keys secret; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@example.com if you suspect misuse.

3. Credits, plans and payment

Generations cost credits. The price of each generation is shown before you start it. Credits are a prepaid licence to use the service, not money: they have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are not refunded except as the Refund policy says.

Plan credits are granted each billing cycle and unused plan credits expire at the next renewal. Credits bought in packs do not expire while your account exists.

Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which also charges any sales tax or VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them from your account page; cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the paid period.

Failed generations are refunded in credits automatically. We may change prices; changes never affect credits you already hold or a billing period you already paid for.

4. Your content

You keep the rights you have in what you upload and, between you and us, in what you generate. You give us the licence we need to store, process and show your content to run the service (including sending prompts and images to the AI model you choose).

Outputs may also be subject to the terms of the model provider you choose. Commercial use of outputs is included in paid plans.

You confirm you have the rights and any consent needed for what you upload, including the likeness and voice of any real person.

Generated videos are labelled as AI-generated in their file metadata; free-plan exports carry a visible watermark. Don't remove these labels to mislead anyone.

5. Acceptable use and removal

You must follow the Acceptable use policy. We screen prompts automatically and may refuse, remove or report content, and suspend or close accounts, that break it. Content involving the sexual abuse of children is reported to the authorities.

6. Availability and changes

AI models are provided by third parties and can change, slow down or disappear. We don't guarantee any particular model, quality or uptime. We may change or end features with reasonable notice.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

8. Ending

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused credits are lost when an account is deleted or closed for a breach.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of [your company's country / state], and the courts there have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer protections where you live. Questions: support@example.com.
